Aloisio Dourado is a Brazilian poker player who is best known for winning the $1,500 Badugi event at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas for $138,144 and his first gold bracelet.
Between November 2014 and June 2023, all but one of Dourado's live scores stemmed from events played in his native Brazil. That erroneous result was a runner-up finish in the $1,500 Eight Game Mix at the 2023 WSOP, where he lost to Shaun Deeb.
At the 2024 WSOP, Dourado finished 53rd in the $10,000 Main Event for $200,000. A year later, Dourado won the $1,500 Badugi for his first bracelet and $138,144. Speaking to PokerNews shortly after his victory, Dourado said:
“It means a lot to me,” an emotional Dourado said following his victory. “I’m feeling very fortunate to be here, to be able to play and to be able to fly from Brazil three years in a row, trying to win a bracelet. I came second to Shaun Deeb two years ago in the eight-game mix and was ready to come here and do it again. I made the final table, and this time I was able to close it out and win it, so I’m very happy.”
